How it works
1. Tell it where you're headed
Enter a destination. For a long trip, enter a city you'll pass through — dEATour works best within about 300 miles and handles trips up to 500. It assumes you're leaving now; you can set a later departure.
2. Compare routes
You get up to three routes, each with its own count of restaurants. Pick the one that suits you.
3. See the detour, not just the distance
Each restaurant shows the extra time and miles a stop adds to your trip — the difference between driving straight through and stopping to eat. A place right off the exit costs a few minutes; one across town costs more. You decide.
4. Only places that should be open
dEATour shows restaurants that should be open when you're expected to be near them. Hours change, especially on holidays, so it's always worth a quick call.
5. Go
Tap Directions to hand off to your maps app. Each restaurant also links out to Google Maps, Apple Maps, Instagram, TikTok and more, when available, so you can see the food first.
